How Much Email Revenue Should Your Store Be Generating?
Plug in your list size and send frequency. The calculator estimates monthly email revenue from revenue per recipient at four levels of account maturity. The per-recipient rates are our planning assumptions, not Klaviyo figures, so read the result as a direction, not a forecast.

Note: the calculator assumes two flow emails per subscriber a month, at $0.30 to $3.20 revenue per recipient depending on maturity, and $0.04 to $0.18 per campaign recipient. These are planning assumptions, not published benchmarks. For published per-flow figures, see Klaviyo's 2026 benchmarks report (2 October 2026): an average of $6.77 per recipient for abandoned cart emails, $5.75 for welcome series and $2.08 for browse abandonment.

How This Calculator Works
Revenue per recipient (RPR) is the cleanest way to size an email program: revenue divided by the number of people who received the email. Flows earn far more per recipient than campaigns because they reach people at a moment they chose. Klaviyo's 2026 benchmarks put flow revenue per recipient at nearly 18 times that of campaigns (Klaviyo benchmarks, checked October 2026).
This calculator multiplies your active subscribers by typical send volume per month, weighted by RPR for your account maturity tier, to estimate the revenue range your program should be hitting. The "gap" is the difference between what you're likely generating now and what a properly built program would generate at the same list size.
The output is an estimate, not a guarantee. Real revenue depends on segmentation, deliverability, copy quality, and offer strategy beyond what a calculator can model. The point of the tool is a directional read on whether your program is leaving revenue on the table. For a read on your actual account, start with a free Klaviyo audit.
