Getting Started
Q.01 What does an email marketing agency actually do? +
— Answer
We manage your entire email programme, from strategy and copywriting to Klaviyo setup, flow automation, campaign sends, list management, and reporting. You get a dedicated team handling every aspect of email so you can focus on the rest of the business.
Q.02 How quickly will I see results? +
— Answer
Flows (automated sequences) typically generate revenue within the first 2–4 weeks of going live. Campaign performance improves within the first month as we segment your list and establish a consistent send cadence. Meaningful revenue attribution data builds over 60–90 days.
Q.03 Do I need to already have Klaviyo? +
— Answer
No. We handle full Klaviyo account setup from scratch, including Shopify integration, authentication, domain warm-up, and initial list import. If you are migrating from another platform (Mailchimp, Omnisend, ActiveCampaign), we manage that migration too.
Q.04 What size store do you work with? +
— Answer
We work with ecommerce brands doing between $500K and $20M+ in annual revenue. Brands below $500K often do not have the list size to justify full retainer management; we will be upfront if that is your situation.
Klaviyo & Technical
Q.01 Are you a certified Klaviyo partner? +
— Answer
Yes. We are a Klaviyo Partner agency with access to Klaviyo's partner support team. Our team holds Klaviyo certifications across email, SMS, and platform administration.
Q.02 Can you take over an existing Klaviyo account? +
— Answer
Yes, account takeovers are common. We start with a full audit of your existing flows, segments, templates, deliverability, and list health. We then present a prioritised rebuild plan before touching anything.
Q.03 Do you set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC? +
— Answer
Yes. Correct authentication setup is foundational to deliverability. We configure and verify SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records as part of every new setup and audit existing records on account takeovers.
Q.04 What ecommerce platforms do you support? +
— Answer
Shopify and Shopify Plus are our primary platforms. We also work with WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and headless setups. Klaviyo's native integration is deepest on Shopify, which is why most of our clients are on that stack.
Flows & Campaigns
Q.01 What flows do you build? +
— Answer
Our standard flow library covers: welcome series, abandoned cart (3-step), browse abandonment, post-purchase sequence, replenishment reminders, win-back, VIP, price drop, back-in-stock, and sunset. We also build custom flows for subscription brands, B2B, and repeat-purchase categories.
Q.02 How many campaigns do you send per month? +
— Answer
This depends on list size, engagement levels, and your send frequency tolerance. We typically start at 2–4 campaigns per month and scale up as engagement data improves. We never send for the sake of sending; every campaign is segmented to protect deliverability.
Q.03 Do you write the copy and design the emails? +
— Answer
Yes. Full-service retainers include strategy, copywriting, design, and deployment. We work within your brand guidelines and build a template library in Klaviyo that your team can use independently if needed.
Q.04 How do you handle A/B testing? +
— Answer
We run structured A/B tests on subject lines, preview text, send times, and within flows on copy and offer variations. All tests are documented with results and recommendations in your monthly report.
Deliverability & List Health
Q.01 My open rates have dropped significantly. What is happening? +
— Answer
A sustained open rate drop usually signals a deliverability issue, either sender reputation damage, a spike in spam complaints, or a list health problem. We run a full inbox placement audit to diagnose the root cause before recommending a fix.
Q.02 How often should I clean my email list? +
— Answer
For most ecommerce brands, running a deliverability-focused suppression review every 90 days is appropriate. We use engagement-based segments (opened/clicked in last 90, 180, 365 days) to identify contacts to suppress or sunset rather than deleting indiscriminately.
Q.03 What is a sunset flow and do I need one? +
— Answer
A sunset flow is a re-engagement sequence sent to chronically inactive subscribers, typically those who have not opened or clicked in 6+ months. If they do not engage with the sunset sequence, they are suppressed. It is one of the most effective ways to protect your sender reputation without manually cleaning your list.
Reporting & ROI
Q.01 How do you measure results? +
— Answer
We report on: email revenue by channel (flows vs. campaigns), revenue per recipient, flow contribution as a percentage of total email revenue, list growth rate, deliverability metrics (open rate, click rate, bounce rate, unsubscribe rate), and placed order rate. We also flag what is improving, what is not, and what we are doing about it.
Q.02 How much revenue should email be generating? +
— Answer
For ecommerce brands with a properly managed Klaviyo account, email should contribute 30–40% of total store revenue. Most brands we take over are at 10–20%. The gap between those two numbers is what we focus on closing.
Q.03 Can you guarantee results? +
— Answer
We do not guarantee specific revenue numbers; performance depends on your product, price point, list size, and existing customer base. What we guarantee is that every lever available in Klaviyo is pulled correctly, tested regularly, and optimised based on your data, not templates built for a different brand.
